Who we are
Ziya Archive is built on a love for photography that started with film.
I began shooting in high school using manual cameras, learning how light works and developing images by hand in the darkroom. Watching a photograph slowly come to life taught me to appreciate patience, intention, and the meaning behind every frame.
Over time, that way of seeing was shaped by a deep appreciation for Islamic, Moorish, and Mediterranean architecture spaces where light, symmetry, and detail come together in a way that feels both structured and timeless.
That influence carries into both my photography and the identity of Ziya Archive, including the framing elements in the logo, a subtle reference to architectural form and the idea of preserving moments.
At its core, my work is about more than how something looks. It’s about what it holds: the feeling, the memory, and the moments you’ll come back to years from now.
